Cliché. Who wants that perfect love story anyway? Anyway... cliché cliché cliché. Who wants that hero love that saves the day? lol okay who am I kidding? We ALL do ! lol. True enough, Valentine's Day is as cliché as "at the end of the day..." but the fact of the matter is, you hate Valentine's Day because you are single, we are in this together, our time is coming. You will get your Valentine and it will all be worth it... just believe it !

Love yourself. If you are really bothered about today go do something about it. Drop the pity and go treat yourself. You deserve to be spoiled, and who better for the job than yourself? Buy yourself flowers, take yourself out to eat (if you don't want the crowds order takeout), or buy yourself something nice. Besides, people think Valentine's Day is only about a significant other, go out with friends or family... spread the love !

Sales. Those next day Valentine's Day sales are everything ! If your sweet tooth is anything like mine, you better get yo life and get some of that good 50% off candy and stop playin' around. As you can see, the candy I like is slightly expensive so I will definitely be taking advantage lol.

One day. It's one day out of the year, just like Christmas and every other marketable monetary driven holiday. Don't sweat it, it'll be over with before you know it. Don't torture yourself comparing your life to everyone else's, trust me... everything is not what it seems. There are women buying gifts for themselves that have boyfriends and husband lol.

Not your time. So what you don't have a Valentine, maybe you haven't for years... it's okay. Be patient and your time will come, there's no need to hate and be a Debbie Downer about it lol. Know that God is taking his time to send you that special someone so that you are ready and appreciative when he/she does come along.
