You know the saying 'fake it til you make it'? On one hand, you are pursuing your dreams, but on the other hand you technically aren't living in the now. Needless to say I prefer the realistic approach as it pertains to all things. I say pick a lane and commit to it. You won't fully invest toward anything without a definite commitment.
If you aren't afraid, analyze yourself for a moment. What is it that you want out of this life? Why do you want it? And lastly, how do you intend to get it? If you can answer these three questions elaborately then you're on your way.
There comes a time (some much sooner than later) when you have to stop making excuses and execute a plan. And when that time comes, there lies an inevitable question: Are you Buffering or BS-ing? While the two can be misconstrued as equals, there is a great divide; It's okay to buffer, when you're in buffer mode things are getting done, slower than others, but getting done none the less; It's kinda the equivalent of "slow money is better than no money." Oh but when you BS to the best of them lol nothing is getting done, all talk no action.
I challenge you to throw away anything that is holding your greatness captive; Excuses, fear, doubt, or whatever it may be let it go. Get rid of all negative energy telling you you can't do something and hone in on that inner voice that is dying to be released. Take control of your life and buffer like hell if need be. Make a plan, create a vision board, feed off of inspiration, consult with a friend or mentor. The only thing stopping you from attaining your dreams and goals is you, take a leap of faith and try. Try and if you fail at least you know you've given it your all.
P.S. Hey my beautiful Ryders! I've missed you all so much, and I'm so grateful to be back. This time I'm back for real and for good! I will be writing 2-3 posts a week to get my feet wet again. Until next time or next post, be safe and blessed!

Root of All Problems= Society?
What if time-lines didn't exist?
As women we have a ticking time-bomb from age 16. There's the sweet sixteen party, then there's prom, high school/college sweetheart (maybe), career, marriage by 30, white picket fence equipped with a baby and a dog, and finally happily ever after? At what point does the bomb explode?
I mean really, who makes this stuff up? Who say down and said if you don't have a certain thing by a certain age you aren't living life? It's all still so bizarre to me that if you haven't obtained these things at the designated time slot, you might as well move outer space for being an alien.
There's so much pressure in regards to life and it's stepping stones. You don't wanna live too fast, but you most definitely don't wanna move to slow. There has to be a happy medium which accommodates every spectrum of your life. You only get one make it count.
Who said you had to have all of your ducks in a row by 25? I've driven myself crazy with the notion of predetermined growth. Like all things are supposed to fall into place and make sense in your twenties (nope). Like my decisions are minute compared to someone else's idea of a pleasant life. As long as you are pursuing what matters should be the real focus right?

Why can't we humans just live and forget about numbers, clocks and times? Your age should not dictate what you can and can't do. Why can't we all just be in the present and revel in it? Forget what society expects "average" people to acquire and create your story in history.
This is my canvas, Imma paint it how I wanna baby

Don't Let Your Temporary Feel Like An Eternity
Why is it easier to be depressed than happy? Hopeless than hopeful? Victim's instead of victors? We've all fallen victim to at least one of the words mentioned which brings about one simple question: Why is it easier to believe hate than love? I mean really think about it. We believe an insult before a compliment, why?
Why do we consume ourselves with negativity yet stray from the positive. This is something I've been struggling with since August. I had a life changing event and it altered my entire perspective. I stopped writing, why? Because I lost hope, faith and my peculiar optimism I've had since the day I was born.
It''s messages like the one above that helped me get through the tornado like dust that I'd settled in. You never know how two simple words can change the magnitude of someone's day. YOU MATTER, yes you, you really do. Every once in a while it's nice to know that you're needed, you're loved, and that your mere existence isn't in vain.
Bottom line, don't allow a temporary circumstance dictate your future. Don't let it consume you, and if it does, don't let it linger too long, take control of your life. Write, talk to someone or yourself so you can really hear your thoughts aloud. Your eternity is what you make it, believe in yourself, never give up, and ride out the storm, it won't be much longer.
I keep my head high, I got my wings to carry me
